The Blue Sky Preserve and Saddle Ridge Neighborhood
The area north of Fort Morgan is unique to eastern
Colorado. In addition to Colorado State Highway 52 providing
excellent access to the area, I-76 and Fort Morgan, natural
features including the Platte River, high topography,
views, recreation amenities and open space opportunities
make this area the most desirable location for new residents
seeking a higher quality lifestyle.
Blue Sky Preserve and Saddle Ridge are on the highest
ground in the area. Homes in this corridor historically
and in the future will command higher values because the
following characteristics are all brought together in
one unique location.
High elevation topography
Views and vistas to the south, east, and west
Platte River corridor
Close transportation linkages to I-76
Close to shopping, professional services, restaurants,
and health care
Asphalt paved roads
Lakes, ponds and other natural features
Future trail systems and quality open space
Morgan County Quality Water District
Existing golf course and club facility nearby
Blue
Sky Preserve and Saddle Ridge are part of a much
larger master plan idea. Saddle Ridge was the first and
Blue Sky Preserve follows in a series of future residential
communities that will incorporate land south to the Platte
River. In the future, opportunity will exist to access
trails along a wetland nature trail extending for several
miles. The 400-acre nature trail and area will include
low land pastures, ponds and lakes and access to the Platte
River.
Views, vistas, plants and animals that now call this area
home will be protected for those individuals inspired
by the casual, rural lifestyle of Fort Morgan and northeastern
Colorado.
Farm 1 and Farm 2 are in the planning and vision stage.
We are committed to planning these areas as carefully
as Blue Sky Preserve and Saddle Ridge have been designed.
